I've been collecting trading cards since '99, back when trading on the school playground felt like the most important thing in the world. Growing up, that love turned competitive: I played in both Yu-Gi-Oh! and Pokémon tournaments, and I learned early that the best part of the hobby is the people you meet across the table.

Life got busy, as it does. After becoming a mom, I found myself looking for something that was just mine again, and TCG was waiting right where I left it. Rediscovering the hobby postpartum brought back the excitement, nostalgia and sense of community I'd missed, and it's what ultimately led me to start 23 TCG.
